TopicsDesign.TV is an Internet broadcasting service provided by Topics Design at our studio in Surf City, NC. The first channel of TopicsDesign.TV will have local variety programming from local content providers. The programming will be live broadcasts featuring arts, culture, entertainment, and business.
Using high definition cameras, video capture devices, audio mixing equipment, computers, and the Internet, the broadcasts will be pushed to video servers on the Internet for distribution (CDN – content distribution network). All live broadcasts will be recorded and packaged (sponsors and advertisements) for re-distribution using RSS (really simple syndication). The content providers will be local individuals that will commit to providing a regularly scheduled show. These individuals will be professionals in their industry whether it is as a knowledge source, or in the field of journalism, or as a public servant representing any of the local governments.
There are 3 types of show formats:
1. Content providers with informative or educational content.
2. Sponsored shows specific to a product, brand, or business.
3. Entertainment such as musical or performance arts.

A content provider show would come in 2 formats: 1) one-on-one interviews, 2) news desk.
